1. GENERAL MANAGER Job Description: - Overall coordination and direction on all construction matters and issues. - Construction schedule development and input. - Estimating and establishing the construction budgets. - Monitor the performance of the project from a contractor’s perspective. - Initiate and direct safety and quality audits. - Overseeing the performance of design and construction phase of contract commitments to ensure profitability and timely execution of work Requirements: - Possess Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering /Architecture/ Construction Management or equivalent. - Knowledge of statutory requirements in all aspect of civil and structural work is highly essential. - At least 18 year(s) of working experience in handling high-rise building with experience and exposure in large scale projects preferably in educational, institutional & hospital type of Substructure/Superstructure/Infrastructure - Has strong knowledge on construction management, contract administration and budgeting in contractor’s environment. - Practical and operational experience needed. - Good leadership, communication skills and interpersonal skills - Determine, decision maker, discipline - Working experience in project management and construction in ISO 9000 work environment would be advantageous - Good leadership, communication skills both verbal and written and interpersonal skills. - Computer Literate with competent knowledge in Scheduling and Project Management Softwares. 2. PROJECT MANAGER Job Description: - To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH management system. - To take on the ultimate responsibility of quality, environmental, safety and health management for the project. - To comply with legal and other requirements applicable to the organization. - To fulfill the company’s contractual obligation to the clients. - To plan, manage, monitor and control project operations. - To plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor’s activities at project sites. - To maintain good house-keeping and implement safety practices. - To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc. - To review and monitor site work productivity and arrange for resources as required. - To ensure that inspection and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans. Results of such to conform to specifications and drawings. - To ensure that site personnel, workers and subcontractors are implementing environmental, safety and health practices at their workplace. - To chair site safety, health and environmental committee meetings. Requirements: - Degree in Architecture/ Building or Civil Engineering or related fields. - Registered as Professional Engineer/Architect with relevant Board. - Minimum 10 years of working experience in construction industry in contractor’s environment - Working experience in handling high-rise building with experience and exposure in large scale projects preferably in educational, institutional & hospital type of Substructure/Superstructure/Infrastructure - Familiar with legal requirements and knowledgeable in environmental, safety and health practices. * Good interpersonal and communication skills. - Self-motivated person and able to work independently. - Able to liaise with clients, consultants and authorities. - Able to work under pressure and long hours. - Has strong knowledge on construction management, contract administration and budgeting in contractor’s environment - Knowledge in Scheduling, Monitoring, Project Management Softwares and Computer Aided Drafting. 4. PROJECT ENGINEER Job Description: - To check practicality of design and its practicality for construction. - To coordinate with multiple group of professional consultants. - To assist the Project Manager or Site Manager to plan, monitor and control daily activities at project sites. - Plans and monitors the work progress of the team for compliance with standards and with the detailed development plan - To supervise and control sub-contractors' activities at site - To liaise with appointed consultants and relevant authorities on matters pertaining to projects Requirements: - Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering. - Registered as Professional Engineer with Board of Engineers, Malaysia is an added advantage. - At least 5 years of working experience in construction works: high rise, bridges or highway works. - Has strong knowledge on construction management, contract administration and budgeting in contractor’s environment. - Preferably those with exposure in reinforced concrete structure, steel structural design and architectural work - Good interpersonal and problem solving - Preferably candidates who can communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia - Self-motivated person and able to work independently. - Knowledge in scheduling, monitoring and project management software is an added advantage. 5. PROJECT ARCHITECT Job Description: - Undertake full responsibility for managing assigned projects. - To assist the Project Manager or Site Manager to plan, monitor and control daily activities at project sites. - To check practicality of design and its practicality for construction. - To coordinate with multiple group of professional consultants and monitors the work progress of the team for compliance with standards and with the detailed development plan. - To supervise and control sub-contractors' activities at site. - To liaise with appointed consultants and relevant authorities on matters pertaining to projects. Requirements: - Candidate must possess at least Degree in Architecture - Registered as Professional Architect with relevant PAM is an added advantage. - Has strong knowledge on construction management, contract administration and budgeting in contractor’s environment. - Working experience in handling high-rise building with experience and exposure in large scale projects preferably in educational, institutional & hospital type of Substructure/Superstructure/Infrastructure. - At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. - Competent in Computer Aided Drafting Software. - Knowledge in scheduling, monitoring and project management software is an added advantage. 6. QUANTITY SURVEYOR Job Description: - Pre and Post Contract Administration. - To prepare monthly project progress claim. - To prepare and execute project budgeting and monitoring. - To coordinate with contractor and site personnel. - Responsible for tender costing & tender documentation. - To handle all inquiries of quotation. - Responsible for taking off quantities, variation orders and project cost control. Requirements: - Degree in Quantity Surveyor/Building or equivalent. - Minimum 5 years working experience in Project Management and Construction Works. - Computer literate. - Has strong knowledge on construction management, contract administration and budgeting in contractor’s environment. - Self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure. - Able to write and converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia. 7. PLANNER Job Description: - To carry out all planning and scheduling works. - To develop overall master program from inception to completion. - To work with project managers to set deadlines for submissions and obtaining approvals from authorities for development order, building plans, engineering plans, CF application, CCC, etc. - To prepare milestone dates of calling of tenders and deadlines for award of all subcontracts. - To develop master implementation and resource program. - To develop implementation program for subcontract, NS and NSC works. - To develop individual subcontract program, if need arises. - To prepare progress reports and other construction related progress report. - To monitor progress of design and construction work. - To prepare physical and financial S-curves. - To carry out critical path analysis and to evaluate extension of time. Requirements: - Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering/ Construction Management/ Building/QS - At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. - Knowledge in using Project Management tool e.g. Primavera P3 / P6, Microsoft Project, Artemies, Suretrack etc. - Registered with relevant Professional Body/Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications is an advantage - Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. - Energetic, dynamic, complex and diverse. 8. CLERK OF WORKS Job Description: - Assist the Project Engineer in implementing instructions to subordinates. - Supervise the Sub-cons/ Foreman/ Technician/ Workers in their performance. - Conduct detailing works, checking and measurement at site. - Conduct daily site inspection. # Assist in office administrative duties, filing and clerical duties - Perform other ad-hoc assignment as assigned by the management Requirements: - Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Professional Certificate, Diploma or higher qualification in M&E/Civil Engineer, or equivalent. - Required skill(s): Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD. - At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
